"the lengths of the sides of a quadrilateral are consecutive even intergers[sic}." No they aren't. There is no such thing as an "interger." Now if they are actually consecutive even integers, that is another story.

Let represent the first integer, then is the next even integer, and the next is two more than that, and so on.

Solve for to get the shortest side, then keep adding 2 to get the other three sides.

the lengths of the sides of a quadrilateral are consecutive even integers. Twice the length of the shortest side plus the length of the longest side is 120 inches. Find the length of the four sides.
----------------------------------------------------
1st: 2x
2nd: 2x+2
3rd: 2x+4
4th: 2x+6
-----------------------
shortest: 2x
---
Equation:
2(2x) + 2x+6 = 120 in.
6x + 6 = 120
6x = 114
x = 19
-----
2x = 38
2x+2 = 40
2x+4 = 42
2x+6 = 46
