The consecutive integers can be defined as:
x
x+1
x+2

x +x+1 +x+2 = 270
3x = 267
x = 89
x+1 = 90
x+2 = 91

The sum of three consecutive even integers is 270. Find the integers

Let the first even integer be F

Then the 2nd and 3rd are F + 2, and F + 4, respectively

Since their sum is 270, then we'll have:

F + F + 2 + F + 4 = 270

3F + 6 = 270

3F = 270 - 6

3F = 264

F, or 1st even integer = , or

Second and third even integers are (88 + 2), and (88 + 4), respectively.
