Let the smaller odd number be F
Then the other is F + 2

Since the smaller number (F) is subtracted from twice the larger one (F + 2), giving us 13, then we can say that: 2(F + 2) - F = 13

2F + 4 - F = 13

F, or first odd integer = 13 - 4, or and other is

1st odd integer: 9

Twice second = 2(11) = 22

As seen, when the first (9) is subtracted from twice the larger (22), the result is 13.
