Find two consecutive odd integers such that three times the first plus two times the second is 39.

Let the two consecutive odd integers be: x, (x+2)

Write an equation for exactly what it says
:
3x + 2(x+2) = 39
3x + 2x + 4 = 39
5x = 39 - 4
5x = 35
x = 35/5
x = 7 is the 1st odd integer and obviously, 9 is the 2nd odd integer
