Translate into an equations and solve.
The difference between seven and twice a number, n, is one.
7 - 2n = 1
2n = 7-1
2n = 6
n = 3
-----------------------------
Five times the sum of twice a number, n, and six is thirty.
5(2n+6) = 30
2n+6 = 6
2n = 0
n = 0
