Answer by sofiyac(983)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
 first number is x
then second one is 6x
x(6x)=12 sove for x
6x^2=12
x^2=2
x=sqrt(2) so that's your first number, then the second one will be
6sqrt(2)
