Answer by mananth(16946)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Walk speed B x mph
Riding speed A 7 faster

Walk speed 20 miles
ride 76 miles
Walk speed time = ride time

20 /x=76 /(x+7)
cross multiply
20(x+7)= 76x
20x+140=76x
76x-20x =140
56x=140
/56
x=2 1/ 2 mph Walk speed

9.5mph Riding speed
