Question 414697: if 9 1s subtracted from half of a certain number the result is the same as when 1/3 is added to the number find the number
Answer by sudhanshu_kmr(1152) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
let the number is x.
x/2 - 9 = 1/3 + x
=> -9 - 1/3 = x - x/2
=> -28/3 = x/2
so, x = -56/3
number is -56/3
