Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
For what positive numbers will the cube
of a number exceed 7 times its square?
---
Solve x^3>7x^2
----
x^3-7x^2 > 0
x^2(x-7) > 0
---
x = 0 is not a solution.
So, x^2 must be positive.
Since the product is positive x-7 must be positive.
---
Solve x-7 > 0
Ans: x > 7
