Separate 65 into two parts so that 3 times the larger will be 6 more than 6 times the smaller.
---
Let the 2 parts be "x" and "65-x".
----
Equation:
3(65-x) = 6x+6
195-3x = 6x+6
9x = 189
x = 21 (smaller part)
---
65-x = 65-21 = 44 (larger part)
