Hi
The tens digit is six more than the units digit.
Let x and (x+6) represent the units digit and tens digit respectively
Note: hundreds digit = 3
Question States
300 + 10(x+6) + x = 40(3 + x+ (x+6)
solving for x
300 + 10x + 60 + x = 120 + 8x + 240
11x + 360 = 360 + 8x
3x = 0
x = 0, the units digit. the ten digit is 6 ( 0 + 6)
the number is 360
CHECKING our Answer
360 = 40*9
