Question 3693: How many sets of three integers are there in which the sum of the three integers does not equal three times the middle integer?

when you say 3 integers, i take it they could be any three...negatives etc and what about duplicates?

Anyway, seeing as how there are an infinite number of numbers, i would say there were an infinite number of possible answers to this. Just like there are an infinite number of sets where they DO equal too...that is the perversion of infinity.

But i could be missing some point of maths here
