betsy works for x+4
...
together they work x+x+4 hours = 2x+4 hours
charita works twice as much as both of them
2(2x+4)=4x+8
....
x+x+4 +4x+8=45
6x+12=45
6x=45-12
6x=33
x= 5.5 hours aaron
betsy = x+4 = 9.5 hours
charita = 4x+8 = 30 hours
