Question 344718: x/(5x-25) - 2 = x/(x-5) simplify and solve for x
Answer by edjones(8007)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x/(5x-25) - 2 = x/(x-5)
x/5(x-5) - 2 = x/(x-5)
x-2(5x-25)=5x Multiply each side by 5(x-5)
x-10x+50=5x
-14x=-50
x=50/14
=25/7
