One positive number is one-fifth of another number. The difference between the two numbers is 84. The two numbers in increasing order are what?
-------------
x = (1/5)y
y-x = 84
---------------
Substitute for "x" and solve for "y":
y-(1/5)y = 84
(4/5)y = 84
y = (5/4)84
y = 105
---
Then x = (1/5)105 = 21
