Answer by Jk22(389) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
96=12(2y+2) (div 2)=> 48=6(2y+2) (div 2)=> 24=3(2y+2) (div 3)=> 8=2y+2 (div 2)=> 4=y+1 (sub 1)=> y=3
Chk : 2*3+2=8, 8*12=8*10+8*2=80+16=96.
