Answer by checkley77(12844) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
X=2Y+4
X+Y-10=15
REPLACE X WITH (2Y+4) & SOLVE FOR Y
(2X+4)+Y-10=15
3Y-6=15
3Y=15+6
3Y=21
Y=21/3
Y=7 ANS.
X=2*7+4
X=14+4=18 ANS.
PROOF:
18+7-10=15
25-10=15
15=15
