Two picture frames have the same perimeter.
One is a square and the other an equilateral triangle.
Each side of the triangle is 6 inches longer than each side of the square.
Find the dimensions of each frame.
:
4s = 3(s+6)
4s = 3s + 18
4s - 3s = 18
s = 18 in is the side of the square
then
18 + 6 = 24 in is side of the triangle

4(18) = 3(24)
