THE UNITS DIGIT OF A TWO DIGIT NUMBER IS THREE TIMES THE TENS DIGIT. IF THE DIGITS ARE REVERSED THE RESULTING NUMBER IS 36 MORE THAN THE ORIGINAL NUMBER. WHAT IS THE ORIGINAL NUMBER?
---------------------
The difference from reversing digits is 9 times the difference between the 2 digits.
A difference of 36 means the 10s and 1s digits differ by 4.
----------------------------
Only A has a difference between them of 4.
---------------
62 - 26 = 36
And, 6 is 3x 2, so that's the answer.
You're right, the answer is obviously A.
