We require 32 consecutive numbers
Let the first number = X
2nd Number = X+1
3rd Number = X+2
4th Number = X+3
.
.
.
.
32nd Number= X+31
Adding them all =
= 32X + 496
But this is equal to 3,036
32X + 496 = 3036
Subtracting 496 on both sides
32X = 3036 -496
32X = 2540
Dividing by 32 on both sides
X = 2540/32 = 79.375
