Let the number in the units place be x
then the digit in the tens place will be 6/x

x-(6/x)=1
x^2-6=x
x^2-x-6=0
x^2-3x+2x-6=0
x(x-3)+2(x-3)=0
(x-3)(x+2)=0
x=3 , -2
the other digit =2
So the number is 23
