Answer by checkley77(12844) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x=y-1
2y=3x-4
Repalce x in the second equation by (y-1) & solve for y
2y=3(y-1)-4
2y=3y-3-4
2y-3y=-7
-1y=-7
y=-7/-1
y=7 ans.
x=7-1
x=6 ans.
Proof:
2*7=3*6-4
14=18-4
14=14
