First do 0.75 of 0.69 which is $0.5175.
Next do 1.5 times $0.89 = $1.335
Next do 3.25 times $0.39 = $1.2675
Next do 2 times $2.19 = $4.38
Add them up gives $7.5. So you would get $2.5 change from a ten dollar bill.
The only problem with this is that in real life each calculation of the goods bought would probably be rounded up to the the nearest cent.
So the sum would be $0.52+$1.34+$1.27+$4.38=$7.51
So if done this way the change would be $2.49
