Question 252003: The sum of four even number is 140. Find the digits?
Answer by richwmiller(17219) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Are they consecutive?
If not there is not enough info.
If they are not consecutive then
2,4,6 and 128=140
4,6,8 and 122=140
etc
If they are consecutive (one after another)
then we have n, n+2, n+4, n+6=140
4n+12=140
4n=128
n=32
others are 34 36 38
