I don't have to work this one out to guarantee that you did NOT do it correctly. You can't start with an inequality and end with an equation. -4 is the right number, but your solution set is all real numbers LESS THAN -4. In other words, . Since your inequality symbol does not include equals, the value -4 is NOT in the solution set. You can get as close as you like to -4, just not exactly -4.
