Answer by scott8148(6628) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
if b="number of 6v", then 10-b="number of 12v"
6(b) + 12(10 - b) = 84
distributing ___ 6b + 120 - 12b = 84 ___ -6b = -36 ___ b = 6
six 6v and four 12v
