Whenever you are given a problem with consecutive integers, you have your first integer, (x), and your next integer (x+2). If you have any more consecutive integers you would have (x+4), (x+6), etc.
This is like saying your first number is 2, the next consecutive even integer would be 4, which you have to add 2 to get to. If you had three consecutive integers in your problem, your next conxecutive integer would be 6, which you would have to add 4 to get to (2+4=6).
So, for this particular problem, you have:

We can combine like terms:

Move the 2 over:

Divide both sides by 2:

This is the first of the consecutive even integers. The other one is 32+2=34.
So, your answers are: 32 and 34.
Sorry, there is no exact formula to solve it, but I hope the method helps.

x+2+x=66
2x=64
x=32
x+2=34
