the number is not prime, it is composite.
the number is not a palindrome.
the digit in the ones place is greater than the digit in the tens place.
the sum of the two digits is 13.
the product of the two digits is 40.
what is the number?

Answer by vleith(2983)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
the sum of the two digits is 13. -->
the product of the two digits is 40. --> -->

So x is either 8 or 5
That makes y either 5 or 8 (since their sum must be 13)
the digit in the ones place is greater than the digit in the tens place.
So the number is 58
Check your answer by making sure that 58 satisfies the other conditions.
