The chickens and rabbits have a total of 360 legs. if there were only 105 animals how many would be rabbits?
---
# of animals equation: c + r = 105
# of legs equation::::2c + 4r =360
--------------------------------------------
Multiply thru 1st equation by 2 to get:
2c + 2r = 210
---
Subtract that from the legs equation and solve for "r":
2r = 150
r = 75 (# of rabbits)
