Question 202916: Four girls, Ann, Bobbie, Cathy, and Deb, have $1100; Ann has a certain sum, Bobbie has twice as much as Ann, Cathy has $800, and Deb has $200 more than Cathy; how many dollars has Ann?
Answer by solver91311(24713) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Whoever made up this problem must be a member of Congress. If Cathy has $800 and Deb has $200 more than that, then Deb and Cathy together have $1800, which is $700 more than the 4 girls started with in the first place. No solution to the problem as stated.
