how many cars must he wash to earn enough?

Since you need $211 and it's $2 per wash, all you need to do is divide the two.

You can't do a carwash and if you do 105 car wahses, you end up with $210 which isn't enough. So, you need to do 106 car washes.
Hope this helps!
