The sum of two numbers is 45. One number is 12 larger than the other. What is the expression for the other number?
------------------
x +(x+12) = 45
2x+12 = 45
2x = 33
x = 16.5
The numbers are 16.5 and 28.5
I don't know which number is the "other number."
