I probably can get you started.

Let your first integer be x.

Then the next consecutive even integer must be x + 2.

The one after that, x + 2 + 2 = x + 4.

Two times the first: 2x

Something times the second: ?(x + 2)

Two times the first less something times the second equals 4:



Replace the question mark with whatever you left out of the problem statement and then solve the equation to get your first integer.
