The sum of three numbers is 26. Twice the first minus the second is two less than the third. the third is the equivalent to the difference between the second and three times the first. find the three numbers.

x + y + z = 26
2x- y = z - 2
z = y -3x
--------------------------------------
Rearrange:
x + y + z = 26
2x - y - z = -2
3x - y + z = 0
---------------------------
