: I need to understand this problem. I can not seem to isolate the "i" which is interest. I have worked and re-worked to no avail. The formula I used for solving this problem is DCL= 3.0= Sales - Variable Cost/EBIT-1
Where Sales = 10,000,000
Variable Cost = 5,000,000
EBIT = 2,000,000
DCL = 3.0

more than one equality sign?
