Answer by scott8148(6628) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
rate=distance/time
p-w=450/3 __ p-w=150
p+w=450/2.5 __ p+w=180
adding the two equations __ p-w+(p+w)=150+180 __ 2p=330 __ p=165
substituting __ (165)+w=180 __ w=15
