Answer by checkley71(8403) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
L=2W-5
L*W=88
(2W-5)W=88
2W^2-5W-88=0
(2W+11)(W-8)=0
W-8=0
W=8 ANSWER FOR THE WIDTH.
L=2*8-5
L=16-5
L=11 FOR THE LENGTH.
PROOF:
2*11-5=22-5=17
8*11=88
88=88
