The sum of three consecutive odd integers is 17 less than four times the smallest integer.
n + (n+2) + (n+4) = 4n - 17
3n + 6 = 4n - 17
3n - 4n = -17 - 6
-n = -23
n = 23,
therefore
23, 25, 27 are the 3 consecutive odd integers
:
:
Check
23 + 25 + 27 = 4(23) - 17
75 = 92 - 17
