Question 1137317: If the sum of 3 consecutive natural number is 1203, then what are the numbers?
Answer by math_helper(2461) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Two methods:
n + (n+1) + (n+2) = 1203
3n + 3 = 1203
3n = 1200
n = 400 --> n+1 = 401 and n+2 = 402
----------
1203/3 = 401 = middle number, so the three numbers are 400, 401, and 402
