X & (X+1) ARE THE 2 CONSECUTIVE INTEGERS.
(X+1)=10+2X
X+1=10+2X
X-2X=10-1
-X=9
X=9/-1
X=-9 ANSWER.
PROOF
(-9+1)=10+2*-9
-8=10-18
-8=-8
