96/16=6
Each horse consumes 6 kg every five days so they consume 6/5 kg daily.
16*5*6/5=96
k*d*c=h
20*d*6/5=96
24d=96
4d=16
d=4
96 kg will last 4 days for 20 horses
check
4 more horses consume 4*6/5= 4.8 kg daily
So 4 horses consume 4*4*6/5=19.2 kg in 4 days
16*4*6/5=76.8 kg in 4 for 16 horses
The original 16 horses consume 76.8 kg in 4 days
76.8+19.2=96 kg
20 horses consume 96 kg in 4 days
20*4*6/5=96
