if the sum of the least and twice the next greater integer is twice the greatest integer
n + 2(n+1) = 2(n+2)
n + 2n + 2 = 2n + 4
n + 2n - 2n = 4 - 2
n = 2
then
2, 3, 4 are the three consecutive integers

First part of the sentence: "whose sum is less than 24" is TOTALLY, TOTALLY unnecessary!
