the best method is by using Prime Decomposition:
16 = 2^4
18 = (2^1)(3^2)
45 = (3^2)(5^1)
So we need at least a 2^4, a 3^2 and a 5^1
x = (2^4)(3^2)(5^1) = 720

You want the least common multiple of 16,18 and 45.
List the prime factors smallest to largest, as
compactly as possible, like below, then bring them
down to the bottom line and multiply them:

 16 = 2×2×2×2
 18 =       2×3×3
 45 =         3×3×5
-------------------
      2×2×2×2×3×3×5 = 720
