Answer by ankor@dixie-net.com(22740) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
a = 100,000 digit
b = 10,000 digit
c = 1000 digit
d = 100 digit
e = 10 digit
f = units
:
Write an equation for each statement
:
The sum of my digit is 33.
a + b + c + d + e + f = 33
My ones digit is 2
f = 2
and my hundred thousands digit is twice my ones digit.
a = 4
Double my hundred thousands digit and the answer is my hundreds digit.
2a = d
2(4) = d
d = 8
My tens digit is 3
e = 3.
Double it and you get my ten thousands digits.
2(3) = b
b = 6
My thousands digit is my ten thousands digit less than my ones digit.
c = b - 2
c = 6 - 2
c = 4
Now we have:
4 6 4 8 3 2
:
4 + 6 + 4 + 8 + 3 + 2 = 27, obviously something is wrong here
