OK, I understand that its' the product of x and 3 that is to the 4th power, correct?. Because it could be x times 3^4.
:
((x × 3)^4)-36 = 369
81 × x^4 = 405
x^4 = 5
take the 4th root of both sides:
x = -5 or x = -i5 or x = i5 or x = 5
