Question 1078880: average of four numbers is 82. For any 3 of the numbers taken, we can get an average of 70, 80 & 92 respectively. What is the difference between the greatest and smallest number?

Total is 328, so for the first one, the last number has to be 118, for the second 88, and the third 52. Since those are three of the four numbers, and the sum has to be 328 for four, the fourth is 70.
The range is 66.
check
70/88/52 average is 70
70/118/88 average is 92
70/52/118 average is 80
