Assuming it is a two digit number
10a + b = the digits of the number
the equation
1.1(10a+b) = .89(a + b)
11a + 1.1b = .89a + .89b
11a -.89a = .89b - 1.1b
10.11a = -.21b
Negative, I don't think this is possible
