8
green marbles and
8
blue marbles. Half of the blue marbles are made of plastic. A marble is selected at random from the bag. What is the probability that it is a blue, plastic marble?

There are 4 blue, plastic marbles out of the 16.

Answer: 4 times out of 16 we'll draw one of those.

That's 4/16 or 1/4 of the time, so that's the probability, 1/4
