Answer by mananth(16946)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!

x= number of adults
y= number of children
Total comercials
1.00 x + 1.00 y = 92.00 .............1
Total value
9.50 x + 7.75 y = 837.25 .............2
Eliminate y
multiply (1)by -7.75
Multiply (2) by 1.00
-7.75 x -7.75 y = -713.00
9.50 x + 7.75 y = 837.25
Add the two equations
1.75 x = 124.25
/ 1.75
x = 71.00
plug value of x in (1)
1.00 x + 1.00 y = 92.00
71.00 + y = 92.00
y = 92.00 -71.00
y = 21.00
y = 21.00
x= 71 number of adults
y= 21 number of children
