 Question 540941: A store has 20 pounds of trail mix that is 3 part raisins to 2 part nuts. They have available another mix that is 1 part raisin to 3 part nuts. How much of this second mix should be added to the 20 pounds to give a mix that is equal parts of raisins and nuts? I tried to add both ratios.
